PERAN PENATA KAMERA DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN VISUAL PADA PROGRAM DOKUMENTER TELEVISI “BERSAMA BUMI PERTIWI”

Luasnya kawasan maritim di indonesia belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh
nelayan, oleh karena itu, penulis dan tim mengangkat tema tentang profesi nelayan
yang sangat bergantung pada hasil kekayaan alam, dalam sebuah program
dokumenter televisi, dokumenter televisi adalah sebuah dokumenter yang
menyampaikan informasi yang aktual dan fakta. Tujuan penulisan pada tugas akhir
ini untuk mengetahui peran penata kamera dalam mengimplementasikan visual
dalam pembuatan program dokumenter “Bersama Bumi Pertiwi”. Penulisan ini
menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa
observasi dan studi pustaka guna membantu mengoptimalkan pengaturan kamera,
pencahayaan. Seorang penata kamera sangat penting dalam pengambilan gambar
di dokumenter televisi. Karena seorang director of photography bertanggung jawab
pada aspek kreatif penggunaan kamera dan melakukan pengawasan terhadap
pencahayaan atau sinematografi Morisan (2018). Oleh karena itu penulis berperan
sebagai penata kamera dimana penata kamera harus mengatasi teknis di lingkungan
yang sulit untuk menghasilkan gambar yang diinginkan. Penulis bertanggung
jawab atas visual yang dihasilkan, mengatasi kendala alat dan over exposure.

important in shooting in a television documentary. Because a director of
photography is responsible for the creative aspects of camera use and supervises
lighting or cinematography Morisan (2018). Therefore, the author acts as a
camera operator where the camera operator must overcome technicalities in a
difficult environment to produce the desired image. The author is responsible for
the resulting visuals, overcoming equipment constraints and over exposure.
