Pembuatan ilustrasi single album ”HEI KAMU!” untuk membangun identias visual girlband group Moe Jidai Densetsu

This study aims to explain the process of creating illustrations for the single album
"HEI KAMU!" to build the visual identity of the girlband group Moe Jidai Densetsu.
Illustration is a thought about concepts and ideas that an illustrator wants to
communicate through a visual image. This illustration acts as a visual identity that
becomes a graphic or visual form that becomes the image or face of their latest
single album. Which aims to make fans more familiar and understand about this
single album and also Moe Jidai Densetsu. In this illustration, the author uses the
galaxy as the main theme, which is combined with ornaments and cheerful graphic
elements as supporters. The creation process begins with observation, interviews,
literature studies, to the production of digital illustrations using the Ibis Paint and
Canva applications. The results of the evaluation with Moe Jidai Densetsu stated
that this illustration is in accordance with the theme of the single album they
released. The creation of this single album cover illustration is also expected to
attract the attention of fans while conveying the meaning or information that Moe
Jidai Densetsu wants to convey through their songs.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai proses pembuatan ilustrasi
single album “HEI KAMU!” untuk membangun identitas visual girlband group
Moe Jidai Densetsu. Ilustrasi adalah sebuah pemikiran tentang konsep dan ide yang
ingin dikomunikasikan oleh seorang ilustrator melalui suatu gambaran visual.
Ilustrasi ini berperan sebagai identitas visual yang menjadi sebuah bentuk grafik
atau visual yang menjadi image atau wajah dari single album terbaru mereka. Yang
bertujuan agar para penggemar lebih mengenal dan memahami tentang single
album ini dan juga Moe Jidai Densetsu. Dalam ilustrasi ini penulis menggunakan
galaksi sebagai tema utama, yang dipadukan dengan ornamen dan elemen-elemen
grafis yang ceria sebagai pendukung. Proses pembuatan diawali dengan melakukan
observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, hingga produksi ilustrasi digital
menggunakan aplikasi Ibis Paint dan Canva. Hasil dari evaluasi dengan Moe Jidai
Densetsu menyatakan bahwa ilustrasi ini sesuai dengan tema dari single album yang
mereka rilis. Pembuatan ilutrasi cover single album ini juga diharapkan dapat
menjadi menarik perhatian penggemar sekaligus menyampaikan makna ataupun
informasi yang ingin disampaikan oleh Moe Jidai Densetsu melalui lagu mereka.
