PERANCANGAN MOTION GRAPHIC PENTINGNYA IDE KREATIF DALAM EDITING VIDEO SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI PADA WECAST STUDIO

Advances in technology brought significant changes, introducing the video era and
the video editing process became the main key in the transition. Motion graphics
are a form of video with a flat design animation concept which raises the theme of
the importance of creative ideas in the video editing process. The choice of this
topic was motivated by awareness of the lack of understanding, especially among
novice video editors, regarding the role of creative ideas in video editing. To
facilitate understanding and continuity of this final assignment, collaboration was
carried out together with Wecast Studio as the client of the final assignment. The
use of motion graphic theory by Afia (2022) as the basis for making the final project
work, which will later be implemented in the final project work process. Then, the
data collection techniques used included literature studies and interviews with work
steps in the form of pre-production, production and post-production processes.
Through the following series of processes until the main work of the final project is
created, promotional media is created as supporting media for the main motion
graphic work and as an advertisement for Wecast Studio.
