FOTOGRAFI MAKANAN TRADISIONAL “GALENDO” KHAS CIAMIS DALAM TAMPILAN KEKINIAN

Galendo Merupakan salah satu kudapan tradiosional khas Ciamis yang terbuat dari ampas kelapa yang telah diperas lalu ampas tersebut digunakan Galendo. Beberapa bentuk Galendo yang telah di inovasi seperti Galendo Brownies, Galendo Bentuk Variasi buah, juga Galendo coklat atau disebut Galecok,walaupun memiliki variasi, Galendo masih kurang diketahui masyarakat juga belum adanya visual tampilan Kekinian. Penelitian ini sebagai bentuk inovasi agar dapat dilestarikan maupun diinovasikan dengan pendekatan fotografi makanan dengan inovasi tampilan Kekinian. Fotografi makanan dengan inovasi Tampilan Kekinian menampilkan beberapa makanan pada kue-kue pada umumnya, sehingga dapat dilihat lebih Kekinian juga dapat menambah pemasaran baru juga dapat di terima masyarakat umum. Dari bentuk detail, bentuk, dan komposisi yang miliki estetis. Karya tugas akhir yang dihasilkan ini dapat menyampaikan pesan pada visual kuat dari kudapan Galendo Khas Ciamis.

Galendo is a traditional delicacy from Ciamis, made from coconut dregs left after the coconut milk extraction process. These dregs are then processed into Galendo. Over time, Galendo has been developed into several innovative forms, such as Galendo Brownies, fruit-shaped Galendo variations, and chocolate Galendo, also known as "Galecok". Despite thesevariations, Galendo remains relatively unknown to the broader public and lacks contemporary visual representation.This research aims to serve as a form of innovation to preserve and further develop Galendo through the approach of contemporary food photography. By applying contemporary visual presentation techniques commonly used in pastry and dessert photography, Galendo can be portrayed in a more contemporary light, enhancing its appeal and potential market reach. contemporary food photography highlights the aesthetic aspects of detail, form, and composition, creating a visually appealing narrative. The final project produced in this study seeks to deliver a strong visual message about Galendo, emphasizing its identity as a unique traditional delicacy from Ciamis, while also elevating its image to be more accepted by today’s audience
