PERANCANGAN DESAIN DAN TATA LETAK PADA BUKU ANAK “KANCIL DAN SEMUT”

In final project report, the authors plan to draft Final Tasks based on the creation
of final project. Final project that the author has forgiven and completed is a
children's book titled "Kancil and Ants" in which the author plays a designer. In
relation to the process of creating final project, the author set the goal of final
projctiting on the creative process of cover design design, layout, and illustration
of the children's book "Kancil dan Semut". The library reviews that authors use are
theories relevant to design, layout, and illustration. The author use a descriptive
method by describing the steps of creating a work, ranging from the design of the
book cover, layout, and illustrations contained in the book's contents. The results
of the discussion can conclude that in the design of the book cover, the layout, and
the illustration. The author must understand the theories surrounding design to
produce a maximum design.

Dalam laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis menyusun berdasarkan pembuatan karya
tugas akhir. Karya tugas akhir yang telah penulis hasilkan adalah sebuah buku anak
dengan judul “Kancil dan Semut” dimana penulis berperan sebagai desainer.
Berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan karya tugas akhir tersebut, tujuan penulisan
tugas akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan proses pembuatan desain sampul buku
anak yang menarik dan untuk menjelaskan tata letak dan ilustrasi naskah buku anak
“Kancil dan Semut”. Tinjauan pustaka yang penulis gunakan adalah teori-teori yang
relevan dengan desain, tata letak, dan ilustrasi. Penulis menggunakan metode
deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi pustaka. Pembuatan desain
sampul dilakukan dengan tahapan pra produksi, produksi, dan produksi. Begitu juga
perancangan tata letak dan ilustrasi dilakukan dengan tahapan pra produksi,
produksi, dan produksi. Simpulannya, dummy naskah buku anak “Kancil dan
Semut” terselesaikan dan memenuhi standar buku anak.
