PENYUNTINGAN MEKANIS DAN GAMBAR PADA NASKAH ANAK “MIKO DAN ILO: BELAJAR RENDAH HATI”

The final project of an animal-themed illustrated children's storybook about the
nature of humility in the neighborhood. The author acts as a script editor and
prepares the final project with the title “Mechanical and image editing in the
children's script 'Miko and Ilo: Learning to Be Humble'”. With the formulation of
the problem of how mechanical and image editing in the children's script “Miko
and Ilo: Learning to Be Humble”. The literature review used by the author is the
types of editing, aspects of editing, basic editing activities, forms of errors in
manuscripts, editing perspectives, children's book manuscripts, and linguistic
theories. The editor used the literature study method with the following work steps:
(1) Pre-editing, skimming and checking the entire manuscript, (2) Editing and
dissecting the manuscript in terms of mechanical and pictorial editing, (3) Finally
there is post-editing, proofreading and checking the completeness of the edited
manuscript. After that, the children's script “Miko and Ilo: Learning to Be Humble”
can be published with some inputs. Based on the results of the author's editing, 31
mechanical edits and 10 image edits have been found, resulting in a children's book
manuscript.

Karya tugas akhir buku cerita anak bergambar bertema binatang tentang sifat
rendah hati di lingkungan sekitar. Penulis berperan sebagai penyunting naskah dan
menyiapkan tugas akhir dengan judul “Penyuntingan mekanis dan gambar pada
naskah anak ‘Miko dan Ilo: Belajar Rendah Hati’ ”. Dengan rumusan masalah
bagaimana penyuntingan mekanik dan gambar pada naskah anak “Miko dan Ilo:
Belajar Rendah Hati”. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah jenis�jenis penyuntingan, aspek-aspek penyuntingan, kegiatan dasar penyuntingan,
bentuk-bentuk kekeliruan pada naskah, persfektif penyuntingan, naskah buku anak,
dan teori kebahasaan. Penyunting menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan
langkah kerja sebagai berikut: (1) Pra Penyuntingan, membaca sepintas dan
pengecekan keseluruhan naskah, (2) Penyuntingan dan membedah naskah dari dari
segi mekanis dan penyuntingan gambar (pictorial editing), (3) Terakhir ada
penyuntingan pasca penyuntingan, proofreading dan pengecekan kelengkapan
naskah yang sudah diedit. Setelah itu, naskah anak “Miko dan Ilo: Belajar Rendah
Hati” dapat diterbitkan dengan beberapa masukkan. Berdasarkan hasil suntingan
penulis, telah ditemukan 31 suntingan mekanis dan 10 suntingan gambar sehingga
menghasilkan naskah buku anak.
