Abstract

ABSTRACT
Employee engagement is the extent to which employees feel connected to their
work and motivated to give the best. Good staff performance not only affects guest
satisfaction, but can also affect guest loyalty and hotel reputation. The purpose of
this research is to find out the impact of employee engagement on the performance
of employees of Hotel Ra Premiere Simatupang Jakarta. The population of this
study is the entire staff of Hotel Ra Premiere Simatupang Jakarta with 54
respondents. Data collection techniques using google form questionnaires. This
research method is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed a
correlation number rotation of 0.272 means that the strength of the relationship
between variables can be said to be sufficient. The direction of the coefficient
number relationship to the result above is positive value of 0.272, then it can be
meant that the increase in employee engagement then will improve the
performance. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted then there is a
significant influence and a very strong and directed relationship between employee
engagement and the performance of employees of Hotel Ra Premiere Simatupang
Jakarta.

ABSTRAK
Employee engagement yaitu sejauh mana karyawan merasa terhubung dengan
pekerjaan mereka dan termotivasi untuk memberikan yang terbaik. Kinerja
karyawan yang baik tidak hanya mempengaruhi kepuasan tamu, tetapi juga dapat
berdampak pada loyalitas tamu dan reputasi hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Ra
Premiere Simatupang Jakarta. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan
Hotel Ra Premiere Simatupang Jakarta dengan 54 responden. Teknik pengumpulan
data menggunakan kuesioner google form. Metode penelitian ini adalah analisis
deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keeratan hubungan angka
korelasi sebesar 0,272 artinya tingkat kekuatan hubungan antar variabel dapat
dikatakan hubungan cukup. Arah hubungan angka koefisien pada hasil diatas
bernilai positif yaitu 0,272, maka dapat diartikan meningkatnya employee
engagement maka akan meningkatkan pula kinerjanya. Dapat disimpulkan H0
ditolak, H1 diterima maka ada pengaruh signifikan dan hubungan yang sangat kuat
dan searah antara employee engagement dan kinerja karyawan Hotel Ra Premiere
Simatupang Jakarta.
