Peran Audio Person Dalam Menggunakan Teknik Live Recording Pada Pembuatan Program Situasi Komedi Berjudul "Keluarga Pak Oscar"

ABSTRACK

This final project discusses the role of an audio person in the production process of a comedy sitcom program entitled "Mr. Oskar's Family," specifically in the application of live recording techniques. This technique is used to record audio directly during the shooting process, thus requiring high coordination between production divisions and special attention to sound quality. This study aims to explain the work stages of an audio person, starting from planning, equipment preparation, the recording process on location, to the audio post-production stage. The method used in this final project is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results of the study indicate that the audio person has a crucial role in maintaining the sound quality of dialogue, effects, and ambiance in real time, while also adjusting to the technical and creative needs of the comedy sitcom program. The success of the live recording technique depends heavily on technical readiness, understanding of the script and blocking of the actors, and the ability to adapt to field conditions. With an optimal role, the audio person also contributes to the creation of a natural comedic atmosphere and supports the overall quality of the program production.

ABSTRAK

Tugas akhir ini membahas peran seorang audio person dalam proses produksi program situasi komedi berjudul “Keluarga Pak Oskar”, khususnya dalam penerapan teknik live recording. Teknik ini digunakan untuk merekam audio secara langsung saat proses pengambilan gambar berlangsung, sehingga menuntut koordinasi yang tinggi antar divisi produksi dan perhatian khusus terhadap kualitas suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tahapan kerja audio person, mulai dari perencanaan, persiapan alat, proses perekaman di lokasi, hingga tahap pascaproduksi audio. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa audio person memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga kualitas suara dialog, efek, dan ambience secara real time, sekaligus menyesuaikan kebutuhan teknis dan kreatif dari program situasi komedi tersebut. Keberhasilan teknik live recording sangat bergantung pada kesiapan teknis, pemahaman terhadap naskah dan blocking pemain, serta kemampuan beradaptasi dengan kondisi lapangan. Dengan peran yang optimal, audio person turut berkontribusi terhadap penciptaan suasana komedi yang natural dan mendukung keseluruhan kualitas produksi program.
