PERANCANGAN TIPOGRAFI SEBAGAI REPRESENTASI IDENTITAS VISUAL DALAM UPAYA PENGUATAN BRAND AWARENESS LUNAR COLLABORATION

This final project focuses on designing the Lunarion experimental display typeface as part of the visual identity system of Lunar Collaboration, aiming to strengthen brand awareness. Lunar Collaboration is a creative marketing consultant that upholds dynamic, progressive, and collaborative values. The objective is to create a distinctive typeface that represents the brand’s character and serves as a visual differentiator. The literature review covers theories on experimental typography, visual identity, and brand awareness. The method includes pre-production (interviews, visual identity observation, literature study, mind mapping, concept development), production (sketches, digitization, type system development), and post-production (type specimen book, media application, and supporting works). The result shows that the Lunarion typeface effectively supports the visual identity through letterforms that combine organic curves and sharp angles, enhancing the brand’s dynamic and progressive image.

Tugas akhir ini merancang huruf display eksperimental Lunarion sebagai elemen identitas visual Lunar Collaboration untuk mendukung penguatan brand awareness. Lunar Collaboration merupakan creative marketing consultant yang mengusung nilai dinamis, progresif, dan kolaboratif. Tujuan penulisan adalah menciptakan font khas yang mewakili karakter brand dan menjadi pembeda visual. Tinjauan pustaka mencakup teori tipografi eksperimental, identitas visual, dan brand awareness. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tahapan praproduksi (wawancara, observasi, studi literatur, mind mapping, penentuan konsep), produksi (sketsa, digitalisasi, sistem tipografi), serta pascaproduksi (buku panduan font, aplikasi pada media, karya pendukung). Hasil menunjukkan font Lunarion mampu mendukung identitas visual dengan bentuk huruf yang memadukan lengkung organik dan sudut tegas, serta memperkuat citra brand.
