Pembuatan Video Klip Lagu Rohani Karo “Gegeh Kuasa Kesah Sibadia” Dalam Mengeksplor Keahlian Permata GBKP Salam Tani

Tugas Akhir ini membahas proses pembuatan video klip lagu rohani berbahasa Karo berjudul “Gegeh Kuasa Kesah Sibadia” sebagai sarana ekspresi artistik sekaligus eksplorasi keahlian seni anggota Permata GBKP Salam Tani. Tujuan utama dari karya ini adalah menghasilkan video klip yang tidak hanya menyampaikan pesan iman secara visual dan musikal, tetapi juga menjadi wadah pemberdayaan potensi kreatif generasi muda gereja dalam bidang produksi audio-visual. Permasalahan yang dikaji berfokus pada bagaimana proses pembuatan video klip ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengeksplor keahlian Permata, baik dalam penerapan teknik sinematografi maupun dalam penguatan kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan keterlibatan mereka dalam setiap tahap produksi. Tinjauan pustaka melibatkan kajian mengenai video klip rohani sebagai media komunikasi iman, teori dasar teknik pengambilan gambar dalam sinematografi, serta konsep eksplorasi keahlian pemuda dalam lingkup organisasi gereja khususnya Permata GBKP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode produksi video yang meliputi tiga tahapan: pra-produksi (perencanaan konsep dan penulisan naskah), produksi (pengambilan gambar dengan teknik sinematografi tertentu), dan pasca-produksi (penyuntingan audio-visual). Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknik seperti framing dinamis, komposisi pencahayaan yang seimbang, serta ritme visual yang selaras berhasil menciptakan narasi visual yang mendukung pesan lagu secara menyeluruh. Selain menghasilkan produk kreatif yang bernilai, proses ini juga mempererat kolaborasi, meningkatkan kreativitas, dan menumbuhkan rasa bangga terhadap budaya dalam komunitas pemuda gereja.

This final project discusses the process of creating a music video for a Karo-language spiritual song titled “Gegeh Kuasa Kesah Sibadia” as a means of artistic expression and exploration of the artistic skills of the members of Permata GBKP Salam Tani. The main objective of this work is to produce a music video that not only conveys a message of faith visually and musically, but also serves as a platform for empowering the creative potential of the church's younger generation in the field of audio-visual production. The issues examined focus on how the process of making this video clip can be used to explore Permata's expertise, both in the application of cinematography techniques and in strengthening their creativity, collaboration, and involvement in every stage of production. The literature review involves a study of spiritual music videos as a medium for communicating faith, basic theories of cinematography techniques, and the concept of exploring the expertise of young people within the scope of church organizations, particularly Permata GBKP. This research uses a video production method that includes three stages: pre-production (concept planning and script writing), production (filming with specific cinematography techniques), and post-production (audio-visual editing). The final results show that the use of techniques such as dynamic framing, balanced lighting composition, and harmonious visual rhythm successfully created a visual narrative that supported the song's message as a whole. In addition to producing valuable creative products, this process also strengthened collaboration, enhanced creativity, and fostered a sense of pride in the culture within the church youth community.
