PERANCANGAN ILUSTRASI PADA NASKAH PICTUREBOOK “SERBA TAHU KEBUDAYAAN KALIMANTAN SELATAN”

“Serba Tahu Budaya Kalimantan Selatan” is a childern picturebook the author
produces as a work of final assignments in the Publishing study Program. In
connection with the book-making process, in the final task report, the author
describes the process of making illustrations on the text of Picturebook “Serba
Tahu Budaya Kalimantan Selatan”. Authors use a descriptive method to display
data, facts, and theories, as well as the writing process associated with the selected
title. A review of the library that the writer used in the discussion was the stage of
creating illustrations by Salisbury in his book titled “Illustrating Childern's Book”.
Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the creation of the
Picturebook illustration is done through four stages: drawing the sketch, scanning
the sketch, digital coloring, and giving it a texture.
“Serba Tahu Budaya Kalimantan Selatan” merupakan buku anak bergambar yang
penulis hasilkan sebagai karya tugas akhir pada Program Studi Penerbitan.
Berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan buku tersebut, dalam laporan tugas akhir,
penulis menjelaskan proses pembuatan ilustrasi pada naskah Picturebook “Serba
Tahu Budaya Kalimantan Selatan”. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk
memaparkan data, fakta, dan teori, serta proses penulisan yang terkait dengan judul
yaang dipilih. Tinjauan pustaka yang penulis gunakan dalam pembahasan yaitu
tahapan pembuatan ilustrasi milik Salisbury dalam bukunya yang berjudul
Illustrating Childern’s Book. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan
bahwa pembuatan ilustrasi Picturebook dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu
menggambar sketsa (outline), memindai sketsa, memberi warna, dan memberkan
tekstur.
