PERANCANGAN DESAIN SAMPUL DAN TATA LETAK ISI PADA NASKAH BUKU KUMPULAN PUISI “RELUNG JIWA”

“Relung Jiwa” merupakan buku yang penulis hasilkan sebagai karya tugas akhir
pada Program Studi Penerbitan. Berkaitan dengan proses pembuatan buku
tersebut, penulis membuat laporan Tugas Akhir ini yang bertujuan untuk
menjelaskan proses pembuatan desain sampul dan tata letak isi pada naskah buku
kumpulan puisi “Relung Jiwa”. Pada laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis
menggunakan metode Hendratman (2014:21) dalam bukunya Computer Graphic
Design. Pembuatan karya meliputi dari Pra Produksi yang terdiri dari mencari
informasi kebutuhan, membuat keranga kerja, mencari ide kreatif, olah data lalu
tahap produksi yang terdiri dari visualisasi dan yang terakhir adalah tahap pasca
produksi. Berdasarkan pembahasan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan
desain sampul dan tata letak perlu langkah-langkah yang baik, tepat, dan sesuai
tahapan agar karya yang dihasilkan memuaskan.

"Relunf Jiwa" is a book that the author produces as a final project in the
Publishing Study Program. In connection with the process of making the book, the
author makes this Final Project report which aims to explain the process of
making the cover design and content layout in the book manuscript collection of
poetry "Relung Jiwa". In this final report, the author uses the Hendratman method
(2014: 21) in his book Computer Graphic Design. Making works includes preproduction which consists of looking for information on needs, making work
frameworks, looking for creative ideas, processing data, then the production stage
which consists of visualization and the last is the post-production stage. Based on
this discussion, it can be concluded that the making of the cover design and layout
needs good, precise, and appropriate steps so that the resulting work is
satisfactory.
