PERANCANGAN DESAIN SAMPUL, ILUSTRASI DAN TATA LETAK NASKAH NOVELET “KENANGAN BERSAMA KAKEK” DENGAN TEKNIK ILUSTRASI BERGAYA KRAYON

The novelette "Kenangan Bersama Kakek" is a family-themed story that narrates
the love and closeness between a grandchild and their grandfather. In this final
project, the author formulates the problem of how to design the cover, illustrations
and layout for the novelette "Kenangan Bersama Kakek" using crayon-style
illustration techniques. The method used includes a literature study by referring to
several references, especially the book "Pengantar Desain Grafis" by Widya and
Darmawan (2019), which serves as a guide in composing the cover and
illustrations. In this final project report, the author employs a workflow divided into
three stages: (1) Pre-Production, (2) Production, and (3) Post-Production. By
following these stages, the author produces a cover that is representative of the
story's content and appealing illustrations for the novelette "Kenangan Bersama
Kakek."

Novelet "Kenangan Bersama Kakek" adalah novelet bergenre keluarga yang
mengisahkan tentang kasih sayang dan kedekatan antara seorang cucu dan
kakeknya. Dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis merumuskan masalah mengenai
bagaimana perancangan desain sampul, ilustrasi dan tata letak pada naskah novelet
“Kenangan Bersama Kakek” dengan teknik ilustrasi bergaya krayon. Metode yang
digunakan meliputi studi pustaka dengan merujuk beberapa referensi, terutama
buku "Pengantar Desain Grafis" oleh Widya dan Darmawan (2019), yang dijadikan
panduan dalam menyusun sampul dan ilustrasi. Dalam laporan tugas akhir ini,
penulis menggunakan langkah kerja yang dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu; (1) Pra
Produksi (2) Produksi (3) Pasca Produksi. Dengan mengikuti tahapan tersebut,
penulis menghasilkan sampul yang representatif terhadap isi cerita dan ilustrasi
novelet “Kenangan Bersama Kakek” yang menarik.
