PERANCANGAN PROTOTIPE EXSIGO SEBAGAI MEDIA LAYANAN INFORMASI DIGITAL TAMU HOTEL

Sektor perhotelan mengalami transformasi yang signifikan akibat perkembangan
teknologi digital, khususnya dalam penyediaan layanan informasi kepada tamu.
Namun, sebagian besar hotel masih mengandalkan media cetak seperti brosur yang
memiliki keterbatasan informasi dan kurang interaktif. Kajian ini bertujuan
menghasilkan prototipe media layanan informasi digital berbasis website bernama
Exsigo (Explore, See, & Go!) bagi tamu hotel di kawasan Cikini, Jakarta. Metode
yang digunakan adalah Design Thinking yang berfokus pada tahap Prototype
dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Pengumpulan data
dilakukan melalui studi literatur dan rekomendasi ahli. Proses perancangan
meliputi pembuatan wireframe (low-fidelity), mockup (high-fidelity), serta
prototipe website menggunakan Google Sites yang terintegrasi dengan QR Code
sebagai media akses. Hasil dari perancangan menunjukkan bahwa Exsigo
menyediakan informasi destinasi wisata, restoran, fasilitas umum, akses
transportas dan Google Maps dalam satu media digital yang terstruktur dan mudah
digunakan. Dengan demikian, Exsigo dapat menjadi media layanan informasi
digital yang praktis, informatif, dan mudah diakses oleh tamu hotel.

The hospitality industry has undergone significant transformation due to the
development of digital technology, particulary in providing information service to
guests. However, many hotels still rely on printed media such as brochures, which
have limited information and lack interactivity. This study aims to develop a
website-based digital information service prototype called Exsigo (Explore, See, &
Go!) for hotel guests in the Cikini area of Jakarta. The study employed the Design
Thinking method focused on Prototype stage with Research and Development
(R&D) approach. Data were collected through literature studies and expert
recommendations. The design process included the development of low-fidelity
wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and a website prototype using Google Sites
integrated with QR Code as an access media. The result show that Exsigo provides
information on tourist destinations, restaurants, public facilities, transport access,
and Google Maps within a structured and user-friendly digital platform. Therefore,
Exsigo can serve as a practical informative, and easily accessible digital
information service for hotel guests.
