UJI FUNGSI DAN IMPLEMENTASI PROTOTIPE EXSIGO SEBAGAI MEDIA LAYANAN INFORMASI DIGITAL TAMU HOTEL

Kebutuhan informasi mandiri yang cepat bagi tamu di area front office hotel saat ini masih terhambat oleh penggunaan media cetak yang kurang efektif dan terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan uji fungsi dan analisis implementasi awal prototipe Exsigo, sebuah website layanan informasi digital mengenai destinasi sekitar dan layanan pendukung di kawasan Cikini, Jakarta. Evaluasi sistem ini menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking pada tahap test dengan pengujian fungsionalitas dan ketergunaan (usability testing) berdasarkan teori Jakob Nielsen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, kuesioner individu, dan expert judgment menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan Front Office Manager, staf, dan Guest Experience Manager. Batasan dari penelitian ini adalah tahap implementasi yang baru dilakukan melalui simulasi fungsi pada lingkungan pengujian terkontrol, sehingga belum diterapkan secara langsung pada operasional harian hotel secara nyata. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe Exsigo secara umum sudah berfungsi dengan baik, efektif, dan memenuhi standar aspek ketergunaan. Berdasarkan masukan responden, penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk pengembangan sistem selanjutnya, sekaligus menjadi referensi dalam mendukung digitalisasi layanan front office perhotelan

The need for fast, self service information for guests in the hotel's front office area is currently still hindered by the use of ineffective and limited printed media. This research aims to conduct functional testing and initial implementation analysis of the Exsigo prototype, a web-based digital information service regarding surrounding destinations and supporting services in the Cikini area, Jakarta. The system evaluation applies a Design Thinking approach at the test phase, focusing on functionality and usability testing based on Jakob Nielsen's theory. Data collection was carried out through interviews, individual questionnaires, and expert judgment using a purposive sampling technique involving the Front Office Manager, staff, and Guest Experience Manager. The limitation of this study is that the implementation stage was only conducted through functional simulation within a controlled testing environment, and thus has not been directly applied to actual daily hotel operations. The test results indicate that the Exsigo prototype generally functions well, is effective, and meets usability standards. Based on respondents' feedback, this study provides recommendations for future system development, while serving as a reference to support the digitalization of hospitality front office services.
