Abstract
The handling of lost-and-found reports for pets at the UPTD Puskeswan Sawangan faces challenges due to unsystematic record-keeping and manual identification of similar-looking animals. This Research and Development (R&D) study aims to develop a centralized, web-based lost-and-found information system using the Waterfall model, the Laravel framework, and a MySQL database. One of the system’s key features is a search recommendation system that employs the Simple Additive Weighting method. This method helps identify the most relevant animals based on their physical characteristics. Functionality testing using Black Box Testing concluded that all system features operate successfully. Analysis of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaire, measured using a 4-point Likert scale, showed a very high level of acceptance. TAM testing among the general public yielded scores of 91% (PEOU), 91.125% (PU), 92.71% (ATU), and 90.31% (BI). Meanwhile, testing among Puskeswan administrators yielded a consistent score of 87.5% across all indicators, with both falling into the “Strongly Agree” category. The study’s conclusions indicate that this application successfully addresses Puskeswan’s operational challenges and is suitable for practical implementation.
Penanganan laporan lost and found hewan peliharaan pada UPTD Puskeswan Sawangan menghadapi kendala karena pencatatan yang tidak sistematis serta identifikasi kemiripan hewan yang dilakukan manual. Penelitian Research and Development (R&D) ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi lost and found terpusat berbasis web menggunakan model Waterfall, framework Laravel, dan basis data MySQL. Salah satu fitur utama dari sistem ini adalah rekomendasi pencarian yang menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting. Metode ini membantu menentukan hewan yang paling relevan berdasarkan karakteristik fisiknya. Hasil pengujian fungsionalitas dengan Black Box Testing menyimpulkan seluruh fitur sistem berjalan sukses. Analisis kuesioner Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) yang diukur menggunakan skala Likert 4 poin menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan yang sangat baik. Pengujian TAM pada masyarakat menghasilkan skor 91% (PEOU), 91,125% (PU), 92,71% (ATU), dan 90,31% (BI). Sedangkan pengujian pada administrator Puskeswan menghasilkan skor konstan 87,5% untuk seluruh indikator, di mana keduanya masuk dalam kategori "Sangat Setuju". Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil memecahkan kendala operasional Puskeswan dan layak diimplementasikan secara nyata.
