PERAN PENATA KAMERA DALAM MENERAPKAN KONSEP 180 DERAJAT PADA PROGRAM DOKUMENTER INTERAKTIF JEMBATAN HARMONI

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penata kamera dalam pembuatan
program televisi dengan format dokumenter yang berjudul Jembatan Harmoni pada
judul episode pertama yaitu “Sunda Wiwitan Kampung Adat Cirendeu”. Penata
kamera merancang semua aspek sinematografi pada pra produksi secara detail dan
mengerjakan kegiatan produksi dan pasca produksi agar sesuai dengan hasil yang
sudah di tentukan. Penata kamera bertugas untuk mengatur segala aspek visual yang
ada dalam dokumenter agar memiliki daya tarik cerita ketika di presentasikan
secara visual, sehingga dapat dengan mudah dimengerti oleh penontonnya (Hosen,
2021). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah
observasi dan studi pustaka. Penerapan konsep 180 derajat atau garis imajiner pada
dokumenter Jembatan Harmoni ini bermaksud untuk memaksimalkan arah gerak
obyek agar penonton tidak dibingungkan dengan sudut pandang pemain dan pesan
dari gambar yang ingin disampaikan pada penonton tercapai atau dipahami.
Penempatan Obyek pada salah satu pada empat buah titik simpang dimaksudkan
untuk menciptakan ruang kosong atau arah gerak. Dari produksi sebuah
dokumenter televisi memiliki peran penting, dimana seorang penata camera
memegang tanggung jawab besar terhadap berlangsungnya pengambilan gambar
sebuah produksi agar berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.

This final assignment discusses how the cameraman makes a television program
with a documentary format entitled Jembatan Harmoni in the title of the first
episode, namely "Sunda Wiwitan Kampung Adat Cirendeu". The camera designer
designs all aspects of cinematography in pre-production in detail and carries out
production and post-production activities to ensure that the results are determined.
The camera director is tasked with arranging all the visual aspects in the
documentary so that the story has an appeal when presented visually, so that it can
be easily understood by the audience (Hosen, 2021). The author intends to describe
the application of dynamic composition in each shooting technique. In the Harmony
Bridge documentary, dynamic composition is used to place objects in one third of
an imaginary line or what is usually called the Rule of Thirds. Placing an object at
one of the four intersection points is intended to create empty space or direction of
movement. The application of the 180 degree concept or imaginary line in the
Harmoni Bridge documentary aims to maximize the direction of the object's
movement so that the audience is not confused by the player's point of view and the
message of the image that is conveyed to the audience is achieved or understood.
The production of a television documentary has an important role, where a
cameraman holds great responsibility for the ongoing shooting of a production so
that it runs effectively and efficiently.
