MPE GOYONG SENIMAN TEHYAN DALAM FOTO CERITA

This final assignment report is entitled "Mpe Goyong Tehyan Artists in Photo Stories". The
aim of writing this final assignment is to visually convey Mpe Goyong as a Tehyan artist
and the other side of his life in the form of story photography, so that it can encourage
people to participate in preserving and learning to play Tehyan musical instruments in the
midst of the modernization era like today. The author uses a theoretical approach which
includes the basic understanding of photography, understanding photojournalism,
understanding photo stories, the EDFAT method, understanding the exposure triangle,
understanding photographic composition, angles, understanding lighting, understanding
artists and understanding techniques. Data collection techniques in this final assignment
include literature study methods, observation, and direct interviews with Mpe Goyong. The
work process in creating this final project consists of three stages: pre-production,
production, and post-production. The result of this final assignment is a series of 15 photo
stories depicting Mpe Goyong as a Tehyan artist and other sides of his life. These photos
are presented descriptively, consisting of opening, content and closing photos. The aim of
writing this final assignment is to describe Mpe Goyong as a Tehyan artist and the other
side of his life in the form of story photography, provide information about Mpe Goyong
as a Tehyan artist in story photo media, and educational media as a tool that can encourage
people to participate in preserving and learning to play tehyan musical instrument.

Laporan tugas akhir ini berjudul "Mpe Goyong Seniman Tehyan Dalam Foto Cerita".
Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk menyampaikan secara visual Mpe
Goyong sebagai seniman Tehyan dan sisi lain kehidupannya dalam bentuk fotografi cerita,
sehingga dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam melestarikan dan
belajar memainkan alat musik tehyan di tengah era moderenisasi seperti sekarang ini.
Penulis menggunakan pendekatan teori yang meliputi pengertian dasar fotografi, pegertian
foto jurnalistik, pengertian foto cerita, metode EDFAT, pengertian segitiga exposure,
pengertian komposisi fotografi, sudut pengambilan/angle, pegertian pecahayaan,
pengertian seniman dan pengertian tehyan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam tugas akhir
ini mencakup metode studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara langsung dengan Mpe
Goyong. Proses kerja dalam penciptaan karya tugas akhir ini terdiri dari tiga tahap: pra
produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Hasil tugas akhir ini adalah rangkaian 15 foto
cerita yang menggambarkan Mpe Goyong sebagai seniman

kehidupannya. Foto-foto ini disajikan secara deskriptif, terdiri dari foto pembuka, isi, dan
penutup. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan Mpe Goyong sebagai
seniman Tehyan dan sisi lain kehidupannya dalam bentuk fotografi cerita, memberikan
informasi tentang mpe Goyong seniman tehyan dalam media foto cerita, dan media edukasi
sebagai alat yang dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam
melestarikan dan belajar memainkan alat musik tehyan.
