PENERAPAN STRUKTUR LIMA BABAK DALAM PERANCANGAN NASKAH FILM ANIMASI ANAK BERJUDUL “HERO”

This study aims to design a screenplay for the animated film HERO by applying the five-act structure as the basis for developing the plot. The application of this structure is expected to produce a coherent, engaging story that is easy for children, the target audience to understand. The research employed a creative process that included a literature review, observation of comparable films, story idea development, the creation of a synopsis and outline, scriptwriting, and validation by experts. The validation results indicate that the HERO script has effectively implemented the five-act structure. Each stage of the story is logically arranged, from the introduction, through the development of conflict and the climax, to a resolution that flows seamlessly. Furthermore, the conflict develops gradually, thereby supporting character development and reinforcing the story’s message. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the application of the five-act structure contributes to the creation of an animated film script with a well-structured plot that is easy to understand and capable of conveying its message to the audience more effectively.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang naskah film animasi HERO dengan menerapkan five-act structure sebagai dasar penyusunan alur cerita. Penerapan struktur tersebut diharapkan dapat menghasilkan cerita yang runtut, menarik, dan mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak sebagai target audiens. Penelitian menggunakan metode penciptaan karya yang meliputi studi literatur, observasi terhadap film pembanding, pengembangan ide cerita, penyusunan sinopsis dan outline, penulisan naskah, serta validasi oleh pakar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa naskah HERO telah menerapkan struktur lima babak dengan baik. Setiap tahapan cerita tersusun secara logis, mulai dari pengenalan, perkembangan konflik, klimaks, hingga penyelesaian yang saling berkesinambungan. Selain itu, konflik berkembang secara bertahap sehingga mampu mendukung perubahan karakter dan memperkuat penyampaian pesan cerita. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan struktur lima babak memberikan kontribusi dalam menghasilkan naskah film animasi yang memiliki alur terstruktur, mudah dipahami, serta mampu menyampaikan pesan kepada audiens secara lebih efektif.
