PENGENALAN BELADIRI SILAT TARUNG GULUNG DALAM FOTOGRAFI ILUSTRASI

This final assignment report is entitled "Introduction of Tarung Gulung Silat
Martial Arts in Illustration Photography". The aim of making the Final Project
work is to visualize the movements in the Tarung Gulung Silat martial art so that
the public can learn about the Tarung Gulung Silat martial art. The author takes a
theoretical approach which includes the basic understanding of photography,
genres of journalistic photography and illustration, photography techniques, as
well as the Silat Tarung Gulung martial art. Data collection techniques in the final
project include field observation methods related to the Silat Tarung Gulung
martial arts, interviews with credible sources, and literature study. The work steps
in creating a final project work consist of pre-production, production and post
production. The results of the final assignment are 17 photos illustrating the moves
in Silat Tarung Gulung. The 17 illustrative photo works include the moves in
Tarung Gulung Silat as well as the application of the moves on the opponent. The
aim of making the final assignment is to display the movements in the Tarung
Gulung Silat martial art, provide appropriate information to the public, and
become a reference for the final assignment work regarding the Tarung Gulung
Silat martial art.

Laporan Tugas Akhir ini berjudul “Pengenalan Beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung dalam
Fotografi Ilustrasi”. Tujuan pembuatan karya Tugas Akhir yaitu untuk
memvisualisasikan gerakan jurus dalam beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung hingga
masyarakat dapat mengenal tentang beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung. Penulis
melakukan pendekatan teori yang mencakup pengertian dasar fotografi, genre
fotografi jurnalistik dan ilustrasi, teknik fotografi, serta mengenai beladiri Silat
Tarung Gulung. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam tugas akhir meliputi metode
observasi lapangan terkait beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung, wawancara kepada
narasumber yang kredibel, serta studi pustaka. Langkah kerja dalam penciptaan
karya tugas akhir terdiri dari pra produksi, produksi, dan paska produksi. Hasil
karya tugas akhir berupa 17 foto ilustrasi jurus dalam Silat Tarung Gulung. Dalam
17 karya foto ilustrasi meliputi jurus dalam Silat Tarung Gulung serta
pengaplikasian jurus pada lawan. Pembuatan tugas akhir bertujuan untuk
menampilkan gerakan jurus dalam beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung, memberikan
informasi yang tepat kepada masyarakat, dan menjadi referensi karya tugas akhir
mengenai beladiri Silat Tarung Gulung.
