OPTIMALISASI UNIT PENCETAKAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HASIL CETAK MENGGUNAKAN MESIN CETAK OFSET KOMORI LITHRONE G40 DI PT SOLO MURNI

ABSTRACT
When the offset printing production process does not always run smoothly, such
as problems that occur with the Komori Lithrone G40 offset printing machine at
PT Solo Murni. The problem that occurs is that the gripper is not functioning
properly because the gripper is loose which is caused by the printing machine
being used too often and lack of intensive maintenance on the impression cylinder
gripper part. Another problem that occurs is that the impression cylinder pressure
on the cylinder blanket and cylinder plate is too strong, causing the paper to stick
to the blanket and plate, this is because the operator is too strong in controlling
the printing pressure on the 3 cylinders. Then another problem is damp paper
which causes problems when it is in the printing unit. Therefore, it is necessary to
optimize the process to get good printing results and know how to overcome the
problems that occur to avoid errors during the printing process so that the
company experiences losses in terms of wasted time and wasted raw materials.

ABSTRAK
Pada saat proses produksi cetak ofset tidak selalu berjalan dengan lancar, seperti
permasalahan yang terjadi pada mesin cetak ofset Komori Lithrone G40 di PT
Solo Murni. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu masalah pada gripper yang tidak
berfungsi dengan baik dikarenakan gripper kendur yang disebabkan karena mesin
cetak terlalu sering digunakan dan kurang nya perawatan secara intensif pada
bagian gripper cylinder impression. Permasalahan lainnya yang terjadi yaitu
tekanan cylinder impression terhadap cylinder blanket dan cylinder plate terlalu
kuat sehingga menyebabkan kertas menempel pada blanket dan plate, hal ini
dikarenakan operator terlalu kuat dalam mengatur tekanan cetak terhadap 3
silinder. Kemudian permasalahan lainnya yaitu kertas yang lembab sehingga
menyebabkan masalah pada saat berada di unit pencetakan. Maka dari itu,
diperlukannya proses optimalisasi untuk mendapatkan hasil cetak yang baik dan
mengetahui bagaimana cara mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi untuk
menghindari terjadinya kesalahan pada saat proses cetak sehingga perusahaan
mengalami kerugian dari segi waktu yang terbuang dan juga bahan baku yang
terbuang.
