EKSPLORASI DAUN TARRAGON PADA BUSANA SIAP PAKAI UNISEX DENGAN TEKNIK ECOPRINT (STUDI KASUS: UMKM GAWENE)

Gawene is an UMKM that focuses on the category of eco fashion ready-to-use clothing products that want to do product development through the simplification of ecoprint motifs. Because today's fashion ecoprint in the market generally has a style that tends to be the same and wants to explore tarragon leaves because it produces shapes of small size. Therefore, this research conducted exploration on tarragon leaves aimed at finding out the results of exploration treatment immersion tarragone leaves on a fabric that has been colored and find out the outcome of unisex ready fashion design with tarragons leaves. This research refers to the theory from the journal entitled “Evolution of Eco Print: Development of Design and Motif Eco Print” in which the authors gained reference to developing a more innovative ecoprint exploration of aesthetic value. The method used was an exploration with the design thinking approach of the Hasso Plattner model, the results of the research showed that the exploration used on tarragon leaves did not require treatment because the resulting leaves remained well printed and the combination of yerba leaves produced a transparent effect on unisex fashion on the target market aged 22-30 years in Jakarta. The conclusions of this study suggest that tarragon leaves can produce aesthetic and attractive motifs on fabrics, while giving uniqueness to fashion products and this ecoprint technique is not only easy, but also efficient in terms of production process and cost.

Gawene adalah UMKM yang berfokus pada kategori produk pakaian eco fashion siap pakai yang ingin melakukan pengembangan produk melalui penyederhanaan motif ecoprint. Karena saat ini fashion ecoprint di pasaran umumnya memiliki gaya yang cenderung sama dan menginginkan eksplorasi daun tarragon kerena menghasilkan bentuk ukuran yang kecil. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini melakukan eksplorasi pada daun tarragon yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil eksplorasi treatment rendaman daun tarragon pada kain yang telah berwarna dan mengetahui hasil rancangan busana siap pakai unisex dengan daun tarragon. Penelitian ini merujuk pada teori dari jurnal yang berjudul “Evolusi Eco Print: Pengembangan Desain Dan Motif Eco Print” dalam jurnal tersebut penulis mendapat acuan untuk mengembangkan eksplorasi ecoprint yang lebih inovatif yang bernilai estetis. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksplorasi dengan pendekatan design thinking model Hasso Plattner, hasil penelitian menunjukan eksplorasi yang digunakan pada daun tarragon tidak memerlukan treatment karena daun yang dihasilkan tetap tercetak dengan baik dan kombinasi daun yerba menghasilkan efek transparan pada busana unisex pada target market usia 22-30 tahun di Jakarta. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daun tarragon dapat menghasilkan motif yang estetis dan menarik pada kain, sekaligus memberikan keunikan pada produk busana dan teknik ecoprint ini tidak hanya mudah, tetapi juga efisien dalam hal proses dan biaya produksi.
