PERANCANGAN ANIMASI 3D EDUKASI KESIAPSIAGAAN MENGHADAPI SITUASI DARURAT DI ELEVATOR MELALUI FILM PENDEK “THE LAS ELEVATOR”

ABSTRAK

With the growing reliance on elevators in high-rise buildings, the risk of emergency situations has also increased. These incidents often lead to panic due to the public’s limited understanding of proper safety procedures. To address this issue, a short 3D animated film titled The Last Elevator was created, blending elements of comedy and thriller to serve as an engaging and accessible educational medium for elevator emergency preparedness. The research was conducted using a non-numerical method by examining one particular case as the basis for comprehensive data exploration. The creation of this project involved scripting, character depiction, and working on technical aspects of 3D animation such as modeling, rigging, lighting, and rendering which were carried out comprehensively. This project combines educational and entertainment aspects so that the audience better understands the importance of preparedness in elevators. It is hoped that this work can increase public awareness in dealing with unexpected situations when using elevators.

Seiring dengan Meningkatnya penggunaan lift di gedung bertingkat memicu potensi situasi darurat yang sering kali menimbulkan kepanikan karena minimnya pemahaman prosedur keselamatan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dibuatlah film animasi 3D pendek berjudul The Last Elevator yang mengusung unsur komedi dan thriller sebagai media edukasi tentang cara menghadapi keadaan darurat di dalam elevator secara menarik dan mudah dimengerti. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode non-numerik dengan menelaah satu kasus tertentu sebagai dasar eksplorasi data secara menyeluruh. Pembuatan proyek ini melibatkan penyusunan naskah, penggambaran karakter, serta pengerjaan aspek teknis animasi 3D seperti modeling, rigging, lighting, dan rendering yang dilakukan secara komprehensif/Luas. Proyek ini menggabungkan aspek edukatif dan hiburan agar penonton lebih memahami pentingnya kesiapsiagaan di dalam lift. Harapannya, karya ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menghadapi situasi tak terduga saat menggunakan elevator.
