Analisis Komunikasi Non-Verbal Melalui Body Language Dalam Animasi 2D Film 'Silent Bond' (Produksi)

ABSTRACT
This study analyzes non-verbal communication through body language in the hybrid 2D animated film titled "Silent Bonds". The film centers on the story of Rai, a deaf child, as a response to the lack of positive representation of people with disabilities in Indonesian animated media. The research aims to analyze the role of body language in building the main character's emotions and storyline, and to describe the creative and technical process of its application. The method used is work review (post-factum practice-based research), which focuses on the analysis of the finished work object. The findings of this study are expected to contribute new academic literature in the field of animation and educate the public on the importance of social acceptance.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini menganalisis komunikasi non-verbal melalui body language dalam film animasi 2D hybrid berjudul "Silent Bonds". Film ini berfokus pada kisah anak tunarungu, Rai, sebagai respons terhadap minimnya representasi positif penyandang disabilitas dalam media animasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran body language dalam membangun emosi dan alur cerita karakter utama, serta mendeskripsikan proses kreatif dan teknis penerapannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian karya (post-factum practice-based research), yang berfokus pada analisis objek karya yang telah selesai dibuat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi akademis baru di bidang animasi dan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya penerimaan sosial.
